Frequently asked questions

Thank you for visiting my website! Here, you’ll find answers to some frequently asked questions from my clients. If you have any further inquiries, feel free to reach. I'm here to help!

  • What do you need to wear?
Comfortable, light clothing — a T-shirt and joggers, shorts, or leggings.

  • Do you use oils?
No. My sessions combine deep pressure bodywork, active stretches, and soft tissue/joint manipulation, so I need a good hold on your limbs throughout.

  • How often should you come back for sessions?
If you have several issues — for example, frozen shoulder, lower back pain, and knee pain — I usually won't have enough time to treat everything in one session, so I'll ask you to come back for a few more. Some clients feel much better after just one session; it really depends on how severe the injury is, and how long you've been dealing with it. If you've been in pain for months or years, it can take a little longer to fully resolve. My aim is always to get rid of your pain in one session, but realistically it sometimes takes a bit of time — and I'll support you and do my best throughout.

  • Once the pain is gone, is it okay to stop coming?
Yes — you don't need to come back once you're feeling completely fine. That said, I often encourage clients to come back before an old injury has a chance to resurface. Management is really important: doing the exercises and stretches I give you after your session helps keep your body mobile. If you're happy to keep seeing me, I'd recommend monthly visits to help prevent recurring injuries.

  • What should I do to prepare my space for a mobile session?
Just clear a space of about 2m x 2m for my table, keep the room warm and quiet, and pop pets in another room if you have them. I'll bring everything else needed for your treatment!

  •  What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule — cancellations with less notice than this will be charged 50% of the session fee. If you cancel right before your session or don't arrive, the full session fee (100%) applies. I understand things come up, so please just get in touch with me as soon as you can.

  • Is Seitai massage safe during pregnancy?
Yes — I hold an insurance to treat pregnant clients from 20 weeks. I offer both Seitai massage and a more gentle prenatal massage with lotion, and both work well depending on what feels right for you at the time.

  •  What should I expect to feel after a session?
Some clients feel a bit of soreness afterwards, but this usually settles within a day or two. Tiredness is also common after a session — both are perfectly normal as your body responds to the treatment.
